Financial Analyst

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support the financial performance of large-scale capital projects. This role goes beyond traditional reporting — you will serve as a strategic financial partner to project managers and operations leaders, providing insight that drives informed decision‑making.

You’ll own budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, capital tracking, and performance reporting for active projects, ensuring financial clarity from project kickoff through closeout.

• Lead development and maintenance of project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking models
• Perform detailed variance and trend analysis to identify risks and opportunities early
• Provide financial insight to project managers to support scope, schedule, and budget alignment
• Prepare and support monthly close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Review and validate invoices, change orders, and purchase commitments
• Support capital expenditure tracking, fixed asset accounting, and GAAP compliance
• Develop cash flow projections and long‑range financial forecasts
• Prepare executive‑ready financial and performance reports
• Assist with audit support and SOX compliance requirements
• Identify and implement process improvements in reporting and forecasting

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field
• 3–7 years of experience in financial analysis, capital project accounting, or project cost control
• Experience supporting construction, manufacturing, engineering, or energy projects strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, capitalization, and project lifecycle financials
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience required
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
• Ability to communicate financial insights to both financial and operational stakeholders
