Tax Manager

• Guide compliance, improve processes, and ensure accurate reporting across jurisdictions.
• Partner closely with finance leaders, operational teams, and external advisors.
• Lead indirect tax compliance, including sales, use, and personal property tax filings across multiple states.
• Manage tax audits, notices, and refund claims, and communicate directly with tax authorities.
• Improve tax processes and systems to increase automation, accuracy, and timely reporting.
• Oversee indirect tax accounting, including reconciliations, accruals, and payment reviews.
• Support M&A activities by reviewing tax risks and assisting with integration efforts.

To succeed in this role, you bring strong technical tax knowledge and leadership experience. You are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with multiple priorities. You understand multi-state regulations and know how to translate complex rules into clear guidance. You enjoy improving systems and building structured processes. You also communicate clearly and work well with different teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification required.
• 7+ years of experience in indirect tax, either in industry or public accounting.
• Experience with tax automation tools and sales and use tax software platforms.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities, including large data sets.
