We are a growing, entrepreneurial organization seeking a hands‑on Controller to lead our accounting and financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, building processes, and partnering closely with leadership to support business growth.

The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting strategic decision‑making. This role reports directly to senior leadership and plays a critical role in the financial health of the company.

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with external partners including auditors, tax advisors, and banks
• Establish and improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support leadership and operational teams
• Manage and mentor accounting staff or external bookkeeping resources, as applicable

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience preferred
• Experience in a small or mid‑sized company environment strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel (ERP experience a plus)
• CPA or CPA‑track preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
