A company is looking for a Senior Mortgage Underwriter to join their team remotely.
Key Responsibilities Analyze borrower information, including credit, income, and assets for thorough evaluations Review appraisals to ensure compliance with guidelines and validate property value Manage the credit decision process from initial submission to closing, while monitoring the mortgage pipeline
Required Qualifications DE and SAR designations required 5 years of mortgage-related and underwriting experience Two or four-year college degree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience Deep knowledge of agency and government underwriting guidelines
Experience with analyzing financial documents and using underwriting software such as DU and LP
