Vaco has been engaged by one of Birmingham’s premier companies to identify an Accounts Receivable/Credit Specialist who will be responsible for credit review and credit qualification of all vendors and clients. Must be proficient in excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)

• Carry out credit reviews
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and maintain constant communication with customer accounts to ensure prompt payment
• Properly evaluate cash flow analysis or payment forecast
• Effectively communicate with internal and external customer responses regarding accounts receivable and billing questions
• Assist with billing, administration, and cash applications, as well as accounts receivable duties and credit duties
• Manage relationships with any credit reporting agencies
• Enter and correct customer information in ERP System
• Recommend any changes or improvements in the credit evaluation process, or participate in any initiatives led by others to improve the process

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance related field
• 5+ years of recent credit evaluation experience
• Ability to analyze financial statements of all types of industries
• Leadership, communication, and team building skills

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
