Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A (Insurance) | Interim
Birmingham, AL (Hybrid)
6-Month Project
$50-$60/hr
We're supporting an insurance client in Birmingham seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst for a 6-month interim engagement
. This role partners closely with senior leadership to support planning, forecasting, and performance analysis during a key project period.
- Support annual planning, forecasting, and corporate consolidation activities
- Prepare financial forecasts, what-if scenarios, and monthly variance analysis
- Partner with business units to gather inputs and resolve financial questions
- Develop and enhance financial models, metrics, and management reporting
- Assist with macro-economic analysis and emerging business issues
- Document processes, maintain internal controls, and drive process improvements
- 5+ years of FP&A or financial analysis experience
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience working with senior stakeholders in fast-paced environments
- Insurance industry experience preferred
