Birmingham, AL | Consulting Engagement (6 months)

We’re partnering with a Birmingham-based organization to identify an Interim Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to own budgeting, forecasting, and financial analytics during a critical phase.

• Take ownership of company-wide budgeting and rolling forecasts
• Build and refine multi-location financial models and P&L rollups
• Deliver monthly reporting, variance analysis, and executive insights
• Partner with operations and leadership to improve budgeting discipline
• Enhance analytics, dashboards, and KPIs (Power BI exposure a plus)
• Identify and implement process improvements and standardization

• 5+ years of FP&A or financial analysis experience
• CPA, CFA, or MBA a plus, not required
• Strong understanding of P&Ls and multi-entity/multi-location reporting
• Advanced Excel skills (modeling, scenarios, pivots, lookups)
• Power BI experience or strong interest in developing it preferred

• High-visibility interim project with executive exposure

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

• the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
• licensure and certification requirements;
• office location and other geographic considerations;
• other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
