Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A (Insurance) | Interim

We're supporting an insurance client in Birmingham seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst for a 6-month interim engagement. This role partners closely with senior leadership to support planning, forecasting, and performance analysis during a key project period.

• Support annual planning, forecasting, and corporate consolidation activities
• Prepare financial forecasts, what-if scenarios, and monthly variance analysis
• Partner with business units to gather inputs and resolve financial questions
• Develop and enhance financial models, metrics, and management reporting
• Assist with macro‑economic analysis and emerging business issues
• Document processes, maintain internal controls, and drive process improvements

• 5+ years of FP&A or financial analysis experience
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
• Experience working with senior stakeholders in fast‑paced environments
• Insurance industry experience preferred

• the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
• licensure and certification requirements;
