Remote – Southeast US
$85,000 –$95,000 + bonus & great benefits
We’re hiring an Investment Accountant to support a growing insurance-focused finance team. This role is fully remote for candidates based in the Southeast U.S., with quarterly travel to Alabama.
What You’ll DoReconcile and analyze complex insurance investment transactions and maintain the investment subledger.
Support accounting/reporting for various investment asset classes, including real estate.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Tax, Accounting Policy, Investments, Audit) to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
Identify process improvements and contribute to system enhancements.
Mentor junior team members and support leadership with analytical and reporting needs.
Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
4+ years of investment accounting experience in the insurance industry.
Strong GAAP/ASC knowledge; familiarity with insurance-specific investment accounting.
Advanced Excel; experience with SAP, BW, or similar tools is a plus.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
