SHR Talent is partnering with a fast-growing, multi-unit organization that is seeking a Controller to lead all accounting and financial operations. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including month‑end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management. The Controller will play a key role in building scalable accounting processes, improving financial accuracy, and supporting leadership through data‑driven insights.

• Lead and manage all day‑to‑day accounting operations
• Oversee month‑end close, general ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow oversight
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Build and optimize accounting processes, systems, and internal controls
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Provide financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision‑making
• Partner with leadership on performance metrics and unit‑level profitability
• Support annual audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements
• Implement financial best practices for multi‑unit or restaurant operations
• Assist in building an internal accounting team as the organization scales

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Multi‑unit, restaurant, or hospitality experience, strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
