As an Edward Jones advisor you are at the helm, supported by branch associates, a home‑office team and other regional advisors.
Job OverviewAs a financial advisor with Edward Jones, you will develop and grow your own practice, supported by branch associates and a regional network. Our legacy of more than 100 years of service means you benefit from a long‑term investment philosophy while helping clients achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Build relationships to create new clients via face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies.
- Deeply understand clients’ needs to accelerate trust and create personalized, comprehensive strategies.
- Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities to ensure a high‑quality, streamlined client experience.
- Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the business plan to increase effectiveness.
- Create an engaging environment founded on mutual trust, respect, and accountability.
- Complete ongoing training and required regulatory education to maintain registrations and licenses.
- Utilize firm‑provided branch office resources and client support teams.

- Series 7 and Series 66 required.
- Experience in financial services with a track of success.
- State insurance licenses preferred.
- Additional professional designations such as CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CRPC®, or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ preferred.
