The controller oversees the financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis processes to ensure timely, accurate and relevant information and reporting.

• Financial Reporting: Preparing financial statements, budgets, and reports, and analyzing financial trends.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and other accounting principles and researching accounting issues.
• Financial Analysis: Analyzing variances and forecasting future performance.
• Problem Solving: This position requires analytical skills and an ability to proactively address and resolve any issues or obstacles that arise in reference to reporting. Implement effective solutions to minimize impact and effectively develop long term solutions to recurring problems.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous data entry and adherence to internal workflow processes is required.

• Reconcile GL accounts on a routine schedule.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare monthly borrowing base calculation.
• Prepare monthly journal entries as assigned.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting requests.
• Support the annual external account review and tax return preparation.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.

• Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience in financial reporting, public accounting, or a similar role.
• Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and management accounting is required.
