The Cost Control Analyst is responsible for monitoring project budgets, analyzing financial data, and providing cost reports to ensure financial efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost control, financial forecasting, and data analysis within the construction industry.

This position is located in Birmingham, AL or Chester, VA.

• Develop, track, and analyze project budgets, costs, and expenditures.
• Prepare cost estimates and forecasts to support project planning and financial decision-making.
• Monitor project expenses for budget alignment and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate financial tracking.
• Review invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct variance analysis and report discrepancies.
• Assist in developing cost control policies and procedures.
• Provide financial reports and dashboards to management.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and policies.
• Use cost management software to improve accuracy and efficiency.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost management software (e.g., Procore, SAP).
• Knowledge of construction project accounting and financial principles.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of cost analysis or financial planning experience in construction.

• Office environment with standard equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License; certification like CCP is a plus.
• Experience with large-scale construction projects and contract administration.

This role is primarily office-based with minimal travel requirements.
