Our Restaurant / Entertainment Managers assist the General Manager with all aspects of the center and its management. In the General Manager’s absence, they hold down the fort, responsible for all center and floor management—from entertainment to Food & Beverage to property and equipment. They maintain an unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction and to developing the team’s hourly staff. This role is a great step toward becoming a General Manager.
Responsibilities- MAKE GUESTS PRIORITY #1 – Be a champion for guests, consistently delivering exceptional service, soliciting valuable feedback, and actively addressing and resolving guest complaints.
- NEVER STOP IMPROVING – Continually hone operational execution; schedule staffing to meet your center’s needs and maximize the guest experience.
- TAKE EVERY OPPORTUNITY – Capitalize on all business opportunities by executing marketing strategies to drive sales (leagues, open play bowling, etc.).
- PARTNER WITH LEAGUES – Develop and maintain good relationships with league bowlers and officers; adhere to league formats, distribute announcements, and perform other administrative duties.
- ASSEMBLE AN ALL-STAR TEAM – Recruit, hire, train, and schedule a talented team of hourly center staff.
- Show Off Those Management Skills – Lead the team, motivate effectively, leverage individual strengths, delegate, delegate, delegate.
- DRIVE FOOD & BEVERAGE SALES – Oversee and expand the center’s Food & Beverage program, ensuring quality standards and guest satisfaction; provide ongoing training and supervision.
- REMAIN FLEXIBLE – Work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and extended workdays as needed.
- 2+ years of management experience in kitchen, bar, restaurant, or food service operations.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to supervise center operations staff.
- Strong team player.
- Exceptional people developer.
- Customer service professional.
- Knowledge of POS register systems.
- Typical entertainment environment: walk, bend, stand for periods; may lift objects with assistance.
