We have an immediate need for an experienced Level II Ultrasonic (UT) Inspector with proven experience inspecting composite materials for a contract opportunity in Alabama.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) on composite materials and bonded structures
  • Set up and calibrate UT equipment in accordance with written procedures
  • Conduct inspections using straight beam, angle beam, or phased array techniques (if applicable)
  • Identify and evaluate discontinuities including delaminations, disbonds, voids, and impact damage
  • Accurately document inspection results and complete required reports
  • Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams
Requirements
  • Current Level II UT certification in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A, NAS-410, or employer-based written practice
  • Demonstrated experience performing UT inspections on composite materials
  • Ability to provide documented classroom training hours and OJT hours
  • Experience with aerospace or advanced composite manufacturing environments preferred
  • Strong understanding of ultrasonic theory and composite inspection techniques
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Preferred Experience
  • Phased Array UT experience
  • Immersion UT experience
  • Aerospace industry background

ITAR Requirement: U.S. Citizenship required
