In this crucial technical role, you will provide technical, mechanical, and process management support for the commissioning department on a variety of projects spanning all markets and geographies served by the group. Your skills will be instrumental in performing design reviews of mechanical and plumbing designs, inspecting building systems, and creating comprehensive testing and closeout documents, all while utilizing cutting‑edge software to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Demonstrated experience in commissioning and mechanical systems
• Accomplished engineer with 8+ years of experience
• Knowledge of manipulating, adjusting, setting up and testing HVAC controls systems such as JCI, Trane, Automated Logic, Siemens, etc. Knowledge of multiple control systems is a plus
• Complete working knowledge of HVAC chilled water and DX systems, including design, operation, and testing of: chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, AHU, RTU, ERU, VAVs, exhaust, FCU, etc.
• Hybrid work available for this position based on experience

• Execute commissioning services on a variety of project types.
• Actively support and coordinate with the entire commissioning team to execute projects and uphold our commitments.
• Apply HVAC sequence of operation knowledge and perform design review of sequence of operation and create mechanical system testing procedures, and test the same in the field.
• Manipulate, adjust, set up and test HVAC controls systems such as JCI, Trane, Automated Logic, Siemens, etc.; knowledge of multiple control systems is a plus.
• Complete work on HVAC chilled water and DX systems, including design, operation, and testing of chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, AHU, RTU, ERU, VAVs, exhaust, FCU, etc.
• Review air and water test and balance process, review TAB reports, and identify issues.
• Visit client facilities and gather necessary data to test mechanical systems.
• Create system installation and testing documents.
• Be familiar with OSHA safety requirements and identify deficiencies.
• Be familiar with building codes and make intuitive decisions related to such.
• Read and understand building plans and specifications.
• Work safely around electrical systems up to 600 volts.
• Effectively communicate with all clients, construction trades, and design professionals.
• Maintain a high aptitude for abstract reasoning, assertiveness, thoroughness, and be very detail‑oriented.
• Work flexible hours and in hot or cold environments.
• Climb stairs, ladders, and use lift trucks; do moderate lifting; proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Travel approximately 50% of the time.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Accomplished engineer with 8+ years of experience
• Commissioning experience
• Commissioning process certification preferred or ability to acquire within first 6 months
• Business development experience a plus
• Professional Engineering License a plus or ability to acquire
• Self‑motivated with highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills
