Position Title: Cloud Engineer

Location: Birmingham, AL (hybrid work model)

Employment Type: Full Time – Direct Hire

Seeking a motivated Cloud Engineer to support the development, deployment, and optimization of cloud-based solutions. In this role, you’ll collaborate with infrastructure, application, and digital teams to implement secure, scalable cloud environments. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about cloud technologies.

• Assist in managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure services across multiple platforms.
• Support senior engineers in deploying, debugging, and optimizing cloud stacks.
• Collaborate with application and product teams to implement cloud services and resources.
• Monitor system performance, analyze capacity, and assist in root cause analysis to improve stability and uptime.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and security best practices.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 0–2 years of experience in cloud engineering or related technical role.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or VMware Cloud.
• Basic understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS architecture.
• Exposure to scripting or coding (Python, Power Shell, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn and grow.

• Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools and performance analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively in Agile environments.
