• Rotate through the functional areas of our core lines of business (mills, fabrication, recycling, or emerging businesses group such as construction services)
• Participate in the CMC safety programs and uphold the CMC safety culture
• Work in roles at the plant level to learn processes and procedures
• Participate in developmental trainings and business projects
• May work in short‑term assignment roles (e.g., fill in for vacation or vacancies) as needed
• Complete and present a capstone project at the conclusion of the program

• Ability to work under the guidelines of CMC’s core values and safety standards
• Ability to work in the elements (hot, cold, wet, etc.) as needed
• Ability to work flexible hours as required
• Ability to work at all levels of the organization (shop floor to upper management)
• Strong customer service skills
• Willingness to relocate at the end of the program if the next opportunity is at a different location
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Foster a culture of learning, growth, and people development
• Ability to travel to various CMC sites as required
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service consistent with CMC’s values
• Must have completed an undergraduate degree at an accredited school to be eligible for the Core Career Path Program

• Engineering degree preferred
• 4‑Year ABET accredited bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering preferred
