Rates: $70.00- $75.00 per hour

Per diem is available if you qualify

US Citizen Required.

PPE:
Hard hat, gloves, ear protection, eye protection, steel toe boots/shoes

Qualifications:

· The SR Structural Engineer 1 position requires 10+ years heavy industrial/power plant experience and an accredited bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering.

Job responsibilities:

· Include providing structural engineering services and producing and checking structural steel design calculations and drawings.

· Skill Sets & Expertise:

· Include detailed knowledge of structural steel design principles and industry methodologies, significant structural steel connection design experience

· Proficiency with structural codes and standards

· Extensive knowledge of heavy industrial structures and components

· Strong computer skills

· Proficiency with structural computer programs such as STAAD PRO.

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
