Acuren is currently recruiting for a remote Drone Operator for operations in Birmingham, AL.
Responsibilities- Organize and report test results
- Perform specialized inspections
- May instruct and supervise others
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
Required:
- Current FAA Part 107 Pilot
- Ensure all operations adhere to FAA regulations
- Working knowledge of substation and distribution power line systems and components
- Comfortable working independently with minimal direction
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with docked drone system
- Ability to maintain accurate records of drone operations and inspections
- Superior attention to detail
- Ability to travel 25%
Preferred:
- Familiarity with docked drone systems as well as command and control software
- ITC Level 1 Thermography Certification
