Part‑Time Civil Structural Engineer – Principal Level
Join Enercon Services, Inc. as a Part‑Time Principal Civil/Structural Engineer. This role offers a flexible schedule (≈30 hrs/week) and the opportunity to design and deliver critical infrastructure projects with a focus on safety and innovation.
OverviewWe are seeking highly skilled Civil/Structural Engineers at the Principal level to lead design initiatives, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to client facility safety and reliability.

- ENERCON Federal Services (EFS)
As a vital member of our engineering team, your day involves:
- Detailed analysis and design of critical structures and components.
- Ensuring designs meet seismic, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Evaluating proposed plant modifications for safety and compliance.
- Preparing technical reports, design calculations, and specifications.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and communicating findings to stakeholders.
- Traveling for site walk‑downs, overseeing field installations, and supporting system start‑ups.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of power system design experience in the Nuclear or Power Industry.
- Experience in engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial (chemical or pulp & paper), or government projects.
- Proficiency in structural calculation preparation and use of analytical codes.
- Knowledge of building codes (IBC) and design codes for concrete and steel.
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- Strong written, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Mentorship experience preferred.
- Must be able to gain nuclear facility badge and perform plant walk‑downs.
USD $90,000.00 – $ per year.
