Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. offers a competitive base pay range for a Part‑time Senior Civil Engineer: $43.00/hr - $57.00/hr.
Job TitlePart‑time Senior Civil Engineer
LocationAtlanta, GA
Duties and Responsibilities- Project Leadership:
Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring client satisfaction, budget control, and regulatory compliance. - Team Coordination:
Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, both local and remote, to achieve project objectives. - Innovative Design Solutions:
Develop sustainable, cost‑effective engineering solutions for complex challenges. - Mentorship and Development:
Provide guidance to junior engineers and foster a learning environment. - Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and environmental regulations. - Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify growth opportunities. - Budgeting and Scheduling:
Oversee project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling. - Quality Control:
Conduct quality control reviews of engineering designs and documentation. - Industry Expertise:
Stay current with industry trends and incorporate innovative approaches.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration required;
Georgia registration preferred. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with extensive background in land development/site design, commercial, office, higher education, mixed‑use, residential, healthcare, municipal projects.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, leading design teams, and interfacing with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of State and Local government regulations affecting civil design and permitting processes.
- Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and industry‑standard tools.
- Strong leadership, written and verbal communication, report writing, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Metro Atlanta experience and relationships a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
