We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the movable bridge industry, with 5‑10 years of professional experience. As a Mechanical Engineer at Steward Machine Company, you will play a critical role in the design, analysis, and production of movable bridge machinery and structural components.

You will be expected to wear multiple hats, adapt to changing project requirements, and demonstrate strong business acumen.

• Lead and oversee the design, analysis, and implementation of movable bridge projects.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
• Conduct detailed engineering calculations and simulations to ensure the integrity and performance of bridge systems.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative and effective engineering solutions.
• Prepare and review technical documents, including design specifications, reports, and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve project goals.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and testing activities as required.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.

• Have Professional Engineer (PE) license or working toward obtaining licensure
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in the movable bridge industry is a plus.
• Strong passion for bridge engineering and a commitment to excellence.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and wear multiple hats.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong business acumen and ability to make strategic decisions.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Works, ANSYS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
