• Serve as Waggoner’s technical lead in executing the services included in this discipline area.
• Assist project managers and CAMs in the development of technical scope of work, budget, and schedule for projects in this discipline.
• Manage the discipline with significant responsibilities, including personnel decisions, annual performance reviews, and enforcing company disciplinary policies as needed.
• Ensure client quality expectations are met.
• Provide attention to detail, identify root causes of quality problems, and own/act on quality issues.
• Mentor and develop Waggoner staff in the skills necessary to execute the discipline’s service areas.
• Facilitate growth and development of the discipline within the firm; stay abreast of trends and opportunities; determine equipment, software, and information needs.
• Identify and develop project opportunities for new work and expanded services; collaborate with Business Development/Marketing to pursue opportunities; develop marketing and sales plans; assist in meeting company goals related to the discipline.
• Work with management, PMs, and CAMs on discipline-area services for projects and pursuits; develop proposal strategies that leverage the Company’s strengths.

• Master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• 4 - 10+ years of experience.
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Alabama, or ability to gain licensure within 4 months of hire.
