• March–May: 2–3 hours per week (planning & program preparation)
• June 1–July 31:
  Full-time during program hours (M–F 8:30 am–4:30 pm)

The Program Assistant works directly alongside the Program Coordinator to ensure the daily flow of the Elevate Summer Program runs smoothly. The role is highly relational, fast-paced, and student-focused.

The Program Assistant will be with students throughout the day, guiding them to scheduled activities, supporting instructors, mentoring during job readiness training, and creating an engaging, structured, and safe environment for high school participants.

The role is ideal for someone who loves working with teenagers, thrives in a dynamic environment, and can balance structure with creativity.

March–May (Pre-Program Planning, 2–3 hours per week)

• Assist with planning student activities, games, and team-building exercises.
• Secure sponsor ships for meals, Fun Fridays, and student experiences.
• Support planning of volunteer opportunities and enrichment activities.
• Collaborate with the Program Coordinator on program logistics and flow.

June 1–July 31 (Program Implementation, Full-Time, M–F 8:30 am–4:30 pm)

• Ensure students arrive on time and report to the correct classroom or activity.
• Maintain the daily schedule and help students transition between activities.
• Support Math and Reading Enrichment Instructors during academic sessions.
• Facilitate activities and keep students actively engaged throughout the day.
• Mentor students during job readiness training and volunteer opportunities.
• Monitor student safety and ensure students remain in approved areas.
• Lead and assist with games, team-building exercises, and character-building activities.
• Provide daily reports and updates to the Program Coordinator.
• Adapt quickly to schedule changes and the daily needs of the program.

• Experience working with teenagers preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable managing groups of students in an active environment.
• Creative, energetic, and personable.
• Able to remain calm and flexible with last-minute changes.
• Passion for mentorship, student engagement, and youth development.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Background Check required.
