Creative Designer

Description

Assists the design team in developing a variety of design deliverables throughout various projects and phases, from conceptualization through construction documents. Specializing in creative designs which include environmental graphics, unique signage types and corporate branding. Responsible for providing the customer a positive, industry leading experience in the design of their custom interior and exterior signage and experiential graphics. Assuring products meet or exceed the customer specifications and expectations.

• Interact with Project Managers via Teams, email, phone or online meeting.
• Coordinate with other design areas on programming, layouts, message schedules or production drawings.
• Coordinate with interior and exterior production departments on how to draw signs that get manufactured.
• Coordinate with customer, developer, general contractor at times around expectations.
• Coordinate with installation department to get all signs in Sign Agent as required.
• Follow administrative processes, procedures, guidelines, and policies.
• Additional tasks, duties and special projects may be assigned, as necessary.

• Associate’s degree in Graphic Design, Environmental Design or Interior Design or equivalent work experience.

• Strong proficiency in Corel Draw, Adobe CC, or similar design software.
• Graphic Rendering a plus.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design.
• Knowledge of the importance of proper customer service.
• Broad based knowledge of business environment.

• Ability to work in high stress fast paced environment.
• Problem solving abilities are a must.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize.
• Able to organize, coordinate and direct projects.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Able to use Windows based computer hardware and software including Excel and Word.
