Overview

Naph Care is hiring a Dental Administrator to join our Corporate Office in Birmingham, AL.

The Dental Administrator oversees the operational, administrative, and quality‑assurance functions of Naph Care’s dental program across prisons and jails nationwide.

Responsibilities

The Dental Administrator serves as a central point of contact for dental operations, escalations, and workflow improvements, partnering closely with Clinical Leadership and Site Operations to drive consistent, high‑quality, and efficient dental services. Key responsibilities include and may not be limited to:

  • Provides day‑to‑day support to onsite dentists and dental staff
  • Manages equipment inventories and maintenance
  • Tracks productivity and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage
  • Monitors documentation and compliance with contract requirements
  • Assists with vacancy management, onboarding, and coordination with recruiting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in healthcare operations; dental or correctional healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to track multiple sites and competing priorities.
  • Experience with EHR systems, scheduling workflows, or productivity reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently, maintain follow‑through, and escalate issues appropriately.
