Customer Service Representative - Remote

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support a wide‑ranging customer support initiative for a large federal agency. The position is full‑time and entry‑level, and the base pay range is $15.00/hr - $16.00/hr
.

Responsibilities
  • Reply to calls and emails from the public
  • Use a knowledge base and follow standard operating procedures (SOP) to answer customer requests
  • Document all communications in the company database
Qualifications
  • Fully fluent in English and/or Spanish (both written and verbal)
  • High School diploma or GED certificate
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance (includes credit check and background investigation)
Desired Skills
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Proficiency navigating a content management system and related web applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service, dependability, and time‑management skills
  • Keyboarding proficiency of at least 40 words per minute
  • Call center (omnichannel) background a plus
