Construction Summer Internship

LIV Development is seeking a motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented student for a full-time (paid) summer internship with our Construction team. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work closely with LIV’s construction and pre-construction team.

This internship is designed to provide comprehensive exposure managing the quality control process on multiple projects and ensuring the timely and accurate turn-over of work for a best-in-class project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with construction and operation team members to oversee asset management coordination during construction and ensure a smooth and efficient project transition.
• Conduct site visits and inspections of construction progress in partnership with Project Managers.
• Perform quality assurance and punch-list process on all construction work and assist in turnover process with leasing team.
• Assist in the close-out process, if applicable.
• Quantity take-offs, as needed.
• Support change order analysis and allowance reconciliation.

Skills/

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Construction, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong eye for detail.
• A self-starter with excellent organizational skills, time management abilities, and a proactive attitude.
• Basic knowledge of reading construction plans (blueprints) is a plus.
