A well-established commercial construction organization is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support projects across Birmingham, Alabama;
Atlanta, Georgia; and Mobile, Alabama
. This role is responsible for leading construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with quality and safety standards.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to manage complex, high-impact commercial construction projects while working with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Oversee all phases of construction to ensure alignment with project objectives, contract requirements, and safety regulations
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, fostering collaboration among clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and resolving issues as they arise
  • Manage project financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, and variance resolution
  • Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays or cost overruns
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including contracts, change orders, schedules, and reports
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, quality standards, and company policies

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline preferred
  • 10+ years of commercial construction project management experience
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera) and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

COMPENSATION & LOCATION

  • Salary range: $120,000 – $180,000, commensurate with experience
  • Positions available in Birmingham, AL;
    Atlanta, GA; and Mobile, AL
