POSITION SUMMARY: The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to procuring the best quality equipment, goods and services at competitive rates.

Mas Tec’s Clean Energy and Infrastructure Group (CE&I) is a $4 billion annual revenue business unit that provides construction services for industrial facilities; building products manufacturers, power generation facilities, manufacturing plants; solar, wind, and thermal energy plants; buildings, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Research, interview and negotiate with suppliers of materials, equipment or supplies, and evaluate them for availability, lead time, price, quality, and terms of sale.
- Prepare and solicit Request for Proposals and evaluate based on price, lead time, existing agreements, and/or competitive bidding.
- Maintain procurement records such as items or services purchased, cost, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining purchase order requisitions and change orders inside of Vista.
- Serve as liaison between vendors and finance to resolve financial challenges, and other issues as they arise.
- Review purchase order claims for conformance to company policy.
- Collaboration with staff members to meet the requirements.
- Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.
- Arrange for the disposal of surplus materials.
- Approve invoices and bills for materials, subcontractors.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Understanding of construction materials, equipment, and project life cycles.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in the construction industry preferred.
- Must have and maintain a valid state issued Driver’s License with driving record that meets Saiia’s risk management guidelines.
- Works in an office environment with standard office equipment available
- This position works from the office and is not required to travel regularly to meet the position’s normal duties and responsibilities.
