Job DescriptionTo employ a knowledge of databases, financial analysis and informatics to plan, design, develop and support systems, projects, and automation. To utilize skills in data mining, analysis and coding within application tool sets to help support and provide business process improvements and reports.
KeyDuties & Responsibilities
- Conducts and documents complex, innovative financial analyses. Develops methodologies to prepare reports to address specific questions, concerns and requests for information presented by senior administrators. Performs duties using senior-level business intelligence skills.
- Serves as expert to other units in preparation of business analysis and tools. Demonstrates ability to interpret requests for analysis to meet customer goals. Determines appropriate conclusion and explains why they are appropriate.
- Responsible for validation of analysis prepared by other units. Identifies strengths and weaknesses of information, determines whether assumptions used are appropriate, and effectively communicates concerns to preparing unit.
- Manages special financial projects as needed. Identifies, obtains and assembles information from other units or departments in order to complete project. Collaborates with other units in preparation of analysis.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related filed and seven (7) years of related experience required. Experience with data mining and database queries is required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
