Operating under light supervision, the Manufacturing Coordinator carries out a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, thereby providing essential support services to management and the leadership team. They provide operational support through the coordination of the quality, service and administrative functions in the pickup and delivery area
The Manufacturing Coordinator assists managers, supervisor and technical staff on administrative projects and investigates customer service complaints to include disputed deliveries, missing packages, early pickups and late pickups.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
• Manage inventory levels for salable materials for Manufacturing operations
• Prepares correspondences, reports, and a variety of technical documents
• Enters and updates information in electronic databases and record-keeping systems
• Prepares materials for meetings and provides records of meetings
• Assists managers and technical staff on administrative projects
• Answers phones and direct calls to appropriate parties
• Answers questions from Client Services, Customer Care and Sales
• Prepares, organizes, maintains, and retrieves files and records
• Maintains compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements
• Must use discretion and independent judgment in making decisions within the department
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have above average computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft office and Google suite, especially spreadsheets
• Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet/database, and desktop publishing software, and a strong aptitude for mastering advanced computer software programs
• This person should also be a proactive problem solver with sound judgment; well-organized, conscientious, and able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business
• Customer Service skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating strong time management skills are a must
• Ability to organize files and records
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
• Ability to work as part of a team to deliver professional services
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
Education and Experience:
High School degree or equivalent required.
