Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the company’s timekeeping, employee information management, and implementation of policies and procedures relating to payroll. Provides support to upper management as requested.
Special focus to be placed on:
- Provides system maintenance for UKG Kronos timekeeping platform
- Performs time and attendance system training for all user levels.
- Exports company time and attendance file, reviews timecard approvals, and advances the pay schedule bi-weekly
- Coordinates and ensures accuracy of information integrated between the HRIS system and timekeeping platform.
- Provides system maintenance to capture new locations, titles, districts, schedules, pay codes, zones, work rules within the UKG Timekeeping system.
- Assigns and maintains time off balances in the system.
- Builds reports in the UKG Timekeeping System
- Ensures accuracy and timeliness of HR information maintenance to record employee, departmental and organizational changes.
- Partners with management to make appropriate system updates related to the collective bargaining agreement.
- Partners with field management and employees to gather information regarding employee maintenance
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years payroll experience required.
- Knowledge of basic wage and hour laws and FLSA compliance required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with various computer software packages including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Preferred experience with Paycor, Kronos UKG timekeeping
- Multi state payroll experience preferred
- Prolonged periods working at a desk in front of a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
