The Student Success Coach is responsible for assisting the College’s Student Records office in processing various registration transactions, maintaining the accuracy of academic records for current and former students, evaluating transcripts, and performing record office functions and processes.
Salary Schedule Placement: Appropriate placement on Salary Schedule E4 05 ($33,625 -$50,777) based on experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with processing functions of the Record’s office on both campuses.
- Performs inquiry and input of student information in administrative software (Banner) system as required.
- Assists with student registration each semester.
- Evaluate transfer credit as needed.
- Process changes to student’s records as needed.
- Utilizes the document imaging system to organize and maintain student records.
- Assist with processing of change of majors as needed.
- Process official transcript requests as needed.
- Supports the department and students by greeting students, faculty, employees, and visitors, directing them to the appropriate offices or persons, providing phone assistance to students, responding to routine inquiries and messages, and routing calls.
- Assists in the daily operation of the office by contributing to the development of procedures for the accurate and efficient maintenance of student records.
- Assist with processing of schedule changes, withdrawals, major changes, etc.
- To perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Registrar or appropriate administrator.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
- Experience working in a records department or educational setting is preferred.
- Experience working with a CRM (banner, people-soft), Microsoft Word, and Excel.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS – STRENGTH RATING
Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
