Base pay range$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

About the CompanyThe ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters. This candidate should feel comfortable reviewing pleadings for deadlines, calendaring deadlines and tasks, coordinating schedules and completing other ad-hoc requests, as needed.
About the RoleKey Responsibilities
- Processing mail, faxes, client documents, and other documents received each day. This includes:
- Calendaring, tasking, and tracking internal and external deadlines as appropriate
- Circulating documents to the appropriate team members and making them aware of any internal and external deadlines
- Updating information where needed on individual and team calendars, Matter Management, and in Smart Sheets
- Coordinating schedules for all attorneys, including internal and external meetings and circulating Zoom calls and Microsoft TEAMS calls
- Coordinating insurance payments, appeal of invoices, approval of expert witnesses, etc. for most insurance companies
- Communicating with clients and expert witnesses regarding payment of firm and expert invoices
- Coordinating with accounting department when needed for invoice appeals and write-off amounts
- Drafting letters to clients, IRS, etc. as necessary
- Drafting quarterly insurance reporting letters to insurance companies
- Handling overflow work and providing backup for paralegals and legal secretaries
- Assisting with onboarding and training of new staff members
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years prior paralegal related experience is preferred.
- Project Management Certification is a plus.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail-oriented.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
