The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in the financial operations of the organization. Will work closely with the finance team, performing accounting tasks to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Monitor bank accounts and track transactions. Prepare monthly intercompany billing statements and monthly income GL entries. Reconcile all company bank accounts and monitor company credit card transactions. Assist the Controller with various ad-hoc tasks and projects.
Qualifications- Strong expertise in financial reporting, account reconciliations, and general ledger management
- Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes and auditing practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, as well as advanced Excel skills and Quick Books
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification preferred)
- Prior experience in corporate accounting, preferably in a senior or supervisory role
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and financial standards such as GAAP
