Onsite Senior Accounting Specialist

About the Role

We're seeking a hands-on Senior Accounting Specialist to support daily accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial records. This role is ideal for someone detail oriented, dependable, and comfortable owning routine accounting processes.

• Process transactions and maintain accurate accounting records
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Support month-end close activities
• Manage invoices, payments, and related documentation
• Assist with sales tax and compliance tasks

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills; accounting system experience required (Quick Books a plus)
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Accounting degree preferred or equivalent experience

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
