Senior Financial Reporting Associate – Birmingham, AL (Onsite)
Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus. Paid through Vaco by Highspring.
Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Associate to support SEC and regulatory filings. This role offers strong mentorship, visibility to leadership, and clear growth potential within a sharp, supportive accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with SEC filings (10‑K, 10‑Q, 8‑K) and earnings releases.
- Prepare footnote disclosures and supporting documentation.
- Support call reports, internal reporting, and ad‑hoc requests.
- Coordinate with auditors and internal teams for reporting processes.
- Maintain calendars and request lists.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA or CPA‑in‑progress.
- 2–5 years in public accounting or SEC reporting.
- Strong GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills.
- Highly organized, collaborative, and self‑driven.
