Customer Team Leader

Pay: £13.99 per hour

Contract:

20 hours per week regular overtime, permanent contract, part time
Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview

You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team leader at Co-op, as you ll need to authorise age-related sales.

We re looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op. Responsibilities
  • Lead the store team, coaching and supervising Customer Team Members and deputising for the Store Manager, while delivering great customer service and performing a wide range of tasks (e.g., restocking shelves, cleaning up spillages).
  • Develop your team s capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone s voice is valued and respected.
  • Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational; manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to create a great shopping experience.
  • Support the Store Manager by deputising when they re not working and delivering a variety of HR processes.
  • Lead the way when introducing new products and services in your store; work closely with your team to implement change and encourage open and honest feedback.
  • Build relationships and get involved in the local community, supporting the Store Manager with the delivery of the local Co-op community plan.
