Production Operative

Join our team at DS Smith Wirral and play a key role in delivering high-quality production!

We’re looking for a motivated Production Operative to support our manufacturing operations. You’ll help ensure smooth production processes, maintain safety standards, and achieve performance targets.

• Take responsibility for your own and others’ health and safety, following SSOW (Safe Systems of Work) and company procedures.
• Immediately report any unsafe acts or incidents to management.
• Meet productivity and quality targets consistently.
• Carry out daily warehouse and production activities efficiently.

Minimum requirements:

• Safety-first mindset.
• Self-motivated, positive, and enthusiastic.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Team player with a quality-focused approach.
• Flexible and open to multi-skilled working and constructive challenge.

Preferred experience:

• Background in corrugated board manufacturing (ideal but not essential).
• Previous experience in production or machine operation.
• Basic maths skills for inventory tasks.
• Counterbalance and/or Reach FLT licence

39.5 Hours – Mon – Thurs 08:00 – 16:30 / Friday 08:00 – 13:30
