CNC Offline Programmer; CAD​/CAM

Position: CNC Offline Programmer (CAD/CAM) (Permanent)
Location: Wirral

Mazco Recruitment is working with a well-established precision engineering company based in Wirral who are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Offline Programmer to strengthen their programming team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern machining environment working on high-precision components using advanced 5-axis machining centres.

The Role

As a CNC Offline Programmer, you will be responsible for producing efficient CNC programs and supporting the shop floor with high-quality machining strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

* Programming 5-axis CNC machining centres offline using Hypermill or Edgecam

* Creating and optimising machining strategies for complex components

* Working closely with production and engineering teams to ensure efficient manufacturing

* Supporting machine setup and troubleshooting when required

* Ensuring programs are optimised for DMG Mori machines

* Maintaining accurate tooling and program documentation

Requirements

* Proven experience as a CNC Offline Programmer

* Strong CAD/CAM programming experience (Hypermill or Edgecam preferred)

* Experience programming 5-axis machining centres

* Knowledge of DMG Mori machines is highly desirable

* Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and cutting strategies

* Ability to work from technical drawings and 3D models

* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
