CK Group are recruiting for an Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, to join a manufacturing business based in Birkenhead on a permanent basis. The shift pattern for the role is double days, rotating on a weekly basis.
Shift pattern:
6am-2pm Monday-Friday
2pm-10:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8am-2pm Friday
- Electrical fault finding and repairs (PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, control panels).
- Hands-on mechanical maintenance - conveyors, pumps, pneumatics, bearings.
- Carrying out and supporting site upgrades, modifications, and new electrical installations.
- Responding quickly to breakdowns to keep production moving.
- Delivering planned maintenance and reliability improvements.
- Level 3 qualified in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong electrical skills with fault finding, repairs, and installations.
- Solid mechanical experience and knowledge.
- At least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in chemical, food, or other regulated environments (DSEAR/ATEX) would be desirable.
