Hygiene Supervisor Nights role at Pilgrim's Europe – Bromborough site.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Hygiene Supervisor to join our Night Shift Team at the Bromborough site. Our ideal candidate will have relevant experience within the Hygiene Department and will need strong communication skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to lead and motivate the team. Your job will be to ensure that the factory is clean and ready for food production, ensuring that the highest food safety criteria is met.

• Ensure that all hygiene operatives have the necessary training to carry out their tasks safely and to highest standard.
• Ensure that the factory conforms to GMP standards and is audit ready at all times.
• Provide leadership and direction to the on-site hygiene operatives, ensuring your team is focused, engaged and able to deliver.
• Complete paperwork and reporting and ensure that all records are stored properly, updated and accurate to audit standard.
• Provide training on hygiene SOPs, health and safety and chemical safety.
• Ensure food safety and health and safety standards are maintained across the team and look for corrective action when needed.
• Manage performance through support, counselling and disciplinary action in accordance with Company policies.
• Lead by example by adhering to Company general policies, i.e., Food Safety, Health Safety, Absence, etc.
• Drive forward hygiene standards in line with the company’s continuous improvement ethos.
