Are you an experienced Engineering Stores Person / Store Keeper looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent role? Our client, based in Birkenhead, is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and maintain engineering stores, ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient stock control.

* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance in compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations.

* Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT) safely and efficiently.

* Perform PAT Testing on electrical equipment.

* Replace brushes on grinders and other engineering tools.

Essential Requirements:

* Proven experience in an engineering background.

* Familiarity with LOLER and PUWER standards.

* Valid FLT license.

* PAT Testing certification.

* Hands-on experience in replacing brushes on grinders and similar equipment.

Compensation:

* Basic Pay: £15.71 per hour (PAYE only)

* Overtime 1: 1.5x basic pay

* Overtime 2: 2x basic pay
