Dalkia have an amazing opportunity for you to join our team as a part-time cleaner, based at Hilbre High School. This is a permanent position with a 20 hour per week contract, where you will be responsible for all general cleaning including all site areas such as hard/carpeted floors, sanitary and kitchenette areas, walls, doors, fixtures and fittings where appropriate.

• Vacuum carpeted areas of the building
• Mop and buff vinyl and /or hard floor areas of the building
• Clean toilet areas of the building
• Polish glass and brass work in the building
• Collect and remove rubbish and waste material to authorised disposal points
• Take responsibility for the safe use of all cleaning materials and equipment used in the course of your duties
• Work in a safe manner for the benefit of oneself and other occupants of the building
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Understand safe working practices and health and safety legislation
• Previous experience working as a cleaner or similar role
• Experience in the use of cleaning equipment
• This role will be working across two shifts each day.
• Monday to Friday
• 06:30-08:00am
• 15:15-17:45pm
• Hourly rate: £12.58 per hour, Full induction, training and uniform
