Deployment Specialist- Hybrid

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for an Application Deployment Specialist on a 3 months contract initially with a possibility of further extension.

Application Deployment Specialist to join our Windows 11 deployment team. As a key player, you’ll work closely with the Applications and End User Compute teams to prepare our applications for deployment.

• Assist the Team Leader in ensuring optimal configuration of systems to provide high-quality service to users.
• Undertake configuration, management, and maintenance of hardware and software components of network and infrastructure.
• Provide technical expertise for the organization’s Windows desktop environment, with a focus on Intune.
• Act as lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) for projects and development in the Windows desktop environment.
• Serve as a senior point of escalation for technical issues within the Specialist Communications and End User Services team.
• Collaborate with the device refresh project manager, Project Team, EUC team, Service Desk, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of deliverables outlined by the programme, such as asset management process review, device security and access review, device and Windows specification, testing, and support for device deployment.
• Engage with end users and provide support as needed.

• Good understanding of how application packages are created.
• Experience in creating and deploying Win
  32 apps.
• Experience in application troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of PSADT and good Power Shell skills would be desirable.
