The Fox & Hounds is a popular food led pub situated in Barnston on the Wirral, full of charm and character, roaring fires, friendly locals and visitors, and bags of history. The pub enjoys a great reputation, and has done for many years, priding itself on its warmth and welcoming atmosphere.

We're looking for a hardworking, punctual and reliable person, who’s happy to muck in and help the team where needed. Our KP’s play a very important role within the kitchen, supporting our team of talented chefs. We offer plenty of opportunities for career progression within the group so this could be an ideal opening for someone who is interested in learning some of the basic skills needed to become a chef.

Main responsibilities include:

• Washing of crockery & utensils
• Keeping kitchen areas and equipment clean and sanitized
• Supporting the kitchen team

Previous experience in a similar position is very much preferred, but as long as you’ve got the right attitude and are willing to work hard, we’ll happily show you the ropes and give you all the training you’ll need to do the job.
