Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Domestic Assistant to join our team, supporting the Trust in providing a clean, safe and welcoming environment for both service users and staff.

This is a permanent role, at our Springview site on the Wirral. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic candidate to fulfil this position.

The Trust currently supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.

This post is Part time - 20 hours per week (Shift pattern 14:30-18:30 Monday-Friday).

Shortlisting for this vacancy is due to commence on 17/02/2026 and the proposed interview date is 27/02/2026.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Domestic Assistant to join our Facilities team. The successful candidate will receive full training and a uniform will be provided.

You will be required to work as part of a team and be flexible within your working approach e.g. cover for annual leave and sickness. Previous experience in a domestic environment would be advantageous, if not training will be provided.

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) provides health and care services for a population of over one million people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care, as well as the provision of three GP surgeries in Cheshire.

We employ around 4,500 staff across 73 sites and have services across Wirral and Cheshire, as well as Trafford, Warrington, Bolton, Halton, Liverpool and Stockport.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Trust in providing a clean, safe and welcoming environment for service users and staff.
  • Be part of the Facilities team and be flexible to cover annual leave and sickness where required.
  • Receive full training and a uniform will be provided.
  • Work as part of a team and be flexible within your working approach; training will be provided if prior domestic experience is not available.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Reliable and enthusiastic candidate with a willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience in a domestic environment is advantageous; if not, training will be provided.
  • Available for part-time work: 20 hours per week, with a shift pattern of 14:30–18:30, Monday to Friday.
  • Commitment to flexible working and teamwork.
  • Willingness to participate in the Prepare to Care induction (up to 3 weeks).
