£30,654 - £33,481.50 per annum dependent on experience and qualifications
Full Time 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities- Work alongside and be supported by a multi-disciplinary team including Nurses, Psychologists and Psychiatrists.
- Support the Registered Manager, helping plan rosters for the staff, conduct monthly supervisions, and assist the team with their learning and development ensuring all the relevant training and inductions are completed.
- Assist with rota planning in advance, manage shift patterns (Early, Late, sleep-ins when required) and ensure flexibility in scheduling.
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of care in line with CQC and/or Ofsted requirements.
- Provide a compassionate, calm, resilient approach and support for the needs and challenges faced by the young people.
Southfield House is a 7-bedroom home located in Bromborough, Wirral, Merseyside. The property offers open-plan rooms, high ceilings and access to front and back gardens. It is well-connected by public transport and has nearby local amenities.
LocationMain Duties:
You will work shifts over a 37.5 hour working week with variable patterns depending on service needs, including two days per week based in the office to support home management. Care hour shifts include Early, Late, and occasional sleep-ins; rota planning is done in advance.
- Must hold a Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Experience in working within residential services
- Minimum of 12 months supervisory management experience
- Excellent understanding of mental health issues faced by young people
- Good understanding of Health and Social Care
- Full clean driving license and access to a car for work
- Ability to manage budgets
- Recruitment, selection and retention of staff experience
- Experience conducting disciplinary investigations and fact-finding
- Experience with Quality Care Commission (CQC) or Ofsted registered services
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead and manage a staff team to achieve high standards
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wider multi-disciplinary team
